Humanity Lost
Video sculpture, installation
This work is the result of a deep reflection on contemporary life: its pounding rhythms, estranging images, the alienating existence we are obliged to lead. Humanity is lost because of a system we created but that we are unable to control and that is slowly harming men, animals and earth.
This is also my first video-sculpture, with video projected onto a sphere that recalls planet earth. Ethic and aesthetic find in this way their harmonic course, on the one hand Humanity Lost is a strong conceptual assertion, on the other it detains a considerable scenic presence.
